If you are a current or former smoker, between the ages of 50-74 who have smoked a pack of cigarettes a day for 30 years-  those who have quit within 15 years- the American Cancer Society is urging patients to speak with their physician about getting a Screening Chest CT annually.

Early diagnosis is critical for successful treatment of lung cancer.  This brief exam is tailored to evaluate patients with a long-term smoking history and is adjusted to provide the lowest possible radiation dose.

An IV is not required and no contrast agent is administered. To schedule your screening at CRR you will need a referral from your medical provider. Call 919.331.2001 to schedule your CT Lung Screening.
